Anytime Chlöe Bailey is spotted in public, she looks like a walking work of art. Red carpets, vacations, public appearances—you name it, she will always arrive dressed to the nines. Her Carnival look will be on moodboards for years to come, she’s worn the chicest gold French tips just for fun, and had us all wanting to shave off our eyebrows for silver studs. Her latest look was no different, and she finished it off with the mismatched manicure of our dreams.
On November 29, Bailey posted an Instagram carousel while in New York City to perform her songs from the Candycane Lane soundtrack at the Rockefeller Christmas Tree Lighting special on NBC, and we couldn’t help but zoom in on every detail of the look.

Her manicure is what caught our attention first. Long and lipstick-shaped, each of her nails had a different golden design that was mismatched from each other but, together, created an opulent cohesive look that would be perfect for New Year’s Eve.
Our favorite was her middle finger. Different from the rest, this one was a deep, moody gold that was uniform in its chrome shimmer from cuticle to lipstick tip. The rest of her nails continued the gold theme, just in subtler ways.
Her pointer finger was a sharp white French design with a triangular, slanted tip. The base of the design was clear but featured golden gemstones in a line down the middle of her nail. Similarly, her ring finger had golden studs and gemstones, just with no French tip—instead, the studs were laid out in a scattered pattern to appear like bubbles.

Bailey’s Thumb was most similar to her ring finger, with golden ornaments on top of a clear base coat. And her pinky was most similar to her middle finger, only featuring a gold foil design rather than a solid golden chrome. Her other hand featured the same designs, just moved around to different fingers.
Obviously, nails this over-the-top had to be paired with a jaw-dropping outfit, which Chlöe delivered. The singer walked the red carpet in a tight-fitting ribbed gray dress with a built-in hood. The hood twisted around her arms into a trailing shawl, and featured peek-a-boo cutouts on her ribs and shoulders. She finished off the look with some silver cuffs, matching rings, and gorgeous matte chocolate lipstick.
