We’re big fans of Megan Thee Stallion here at Byrdie. The rap superstar just knows how to serve a look—hair, makeup, nails, outfit; it always comes together perfectly. Recently, she’s given us much to obsess over, including red velvet nails, studded nails, dark denim nails, and even going “Mean Girls” blonde. However, of all the many manis she has worn as of late, her most recent is hands-down our favorite.
On December 19, Thee Stallion posted an Instagram carousel showing off her earth-toned ensemble, ultra-curly hair, and flawless makeup. However, despite the eye-catching design of her outfit, it was her nails that made us zoom in.
In typical Meg fashion, her latest manicure was ultra-long and pointy, fully extending multiple inches past her fingertips. If you looked quickly, you may have missed the optical illusion that laid on top. But, of course, we aren’t the type to miss it.
Her manicure was sort of a fusion between serpent nails and hourglass nails, creating an optical illusion similar to that of her bodysuit. Each nail matched in design, but was done in a different color.
Each of her fingers, except her left thumb and right pinkie, coordinated with a creamy beige, off-white base—which was also one of the colors in her striped bodysuit. The two that didn’t have the matching base instead had the same pearly white base. The beige shade was still present though, just as the hourglass outline.
The rest of her nails had the same hourglass design on top, in an ombré from olive green to black. Some nails were light green, others a dark gray, and others plain black.

The rest of her look coordinated perfectly with the eye-catching manicure. As mentioned, she was wearing a skin-tight bodysuit. The garment was cut out all over and made up of vertical stripes of neutral colors—black, white, tan, brown, and gray. She accessorized with think chain bracelets, a matching ring, and a choker in the shape of a snake.
For makeup, her skin looked creamy and dewy, with highlights on the high points of her face. Her lips were lined with a deep pink and then coated with an ultra-glossy lip gloss. Her eyes finished off the glam, glistening with a soft, warm-toned pink glitter and defined with some thin black eyeliner and dark mascara.
Hair was the final piece of the puzzle. Ultra curly, it had lots of bounce and structure with varying shades of copper; might we say cowgirl copper? Some curls bright, some were deep, but all had an underlying reddish tinge that paired nicely with the neutrals-all-over outfit.
