By now, I’m pretty sure we’re all aware that Megan Thee Stallion loves to experiment with her nails. She’s always trying out the latest trending looks with her own twist—mixing Barbiecore with aura nails, trying out chrome nails in an unexpected forest green shade, and giving dark denim nails a try. Her latest manicure showed her take on the cherry red trend, and it’s edgy perfection.
On November 16, Thee Stallion walked the red carpet for the GQ Men of the Year party in Los Angeles, California. She posed alongside stars like Kim Kardashian and Megan Fox wearing the sultriest dark lace gown, a gorgeous wavy updo, and deep cherry nails with small silver studs. The last of which we needed to zoom in on for the details.

Meg’s nails were filed into her classic long and pointy shape with a high-gloss color as a base. A tad deeper than the classic cherry red, it was giving tart cherry juice more than classic crimson, which follows the recent trend of moodier reds that have been spotted on everyone from Hailey Bieber to Olivia Rodrigo.
After the base, though, is where each of the nails started to look a little different. On top of the red, near her cuticles, each of the nails had varying arrangements of small dark silver gems that looked like studs. The exact placements of the individual silver beads were random, almost as if they had been sprinkled onto her nails. The detail gave the classic color a bit more edge and made it coordinate with the rest of the ensemble even more—plus, it just looked gorgeous.

The star’s barely-there lace dress also featured small black beads dangling off her hip like an accessory. The embellishments were similar to the sparkles on her nails, as well as the dangling dark silver earrings poking out from her ’90s-inspired hair, tying the whole look together even more.
Matching with the edgy-chicness of the dress and manicure, her hair reminded us of a Pamela Anderson updo. On the crown of her sat a voluminous, wavy, bouncy bun that the icon was known for. Then, covering one of her eyes was a thick tendril that fell down to her shoulder, accentuating her makeup in the process—a classic, sculpted look with red-toned glossy lips, highlighted skin, and long, smoky eyes that continued almost to her temples.
